Midtown Madness 3 is not currently backwards compatible on the Xbox 360. Players chase each other and try to bump each others cars. The game allows you to run errands but also and above all to drive freely in different cities, including the French capital, Paris. I even manage to slip in Midtown Madness 3 Most of my online friends probably came from playing that game and will know how much we all loved it on the original Xbox.

In Checkpoint Races, the player goes through the checkpoints in any order and gets to the finish line before his opponents. In "Blitz" races, the player goes through all the given checkpoints in any order and races to the finish line before time runs out. This isn’t specific to the Xbox One in particular, as all three current gen consoles the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One suffer from terrible.

I’m not getting my hopes up for the Series X, either. In "Cruise" (free roam) mode, the player can choose the amount of pedestrians and traffic, change the weather, the time of day and the season, and collect car-specific paint jobs, in a car selected by the user. Midtown Madness 3, my favourite OG Xbox exclusive title, didn’t work on the Xbox 360, and it doesn’t work on the Xbox One.
